How To Survive Elections Week

1. Head down, no eye contact. This is key.
2. Headphones in, music loud enough they can hear it.
3. Fold your arms and walk quickly. Like you are late to class and grumpy.
4. Walk down the middle of the sidewalks and try to keep a a person on all sides of you at all times.
5. Vote early so if by chance they STILL talk to you, (Despite head down, headphones blasting music, folded arms, quick pace and unhappy demeanor, AND the people all around you.) you can say you already voted.*
6. Or you can just say you already voted anyway. But then you have to deal with the guilt of lying.
7. Print the sign they provide on the voting website that says you already voted and stick it on your door.
8. Mission accomplished, you'll make it through the week.

*Note: Still be informed when you vote. Randomly picking names is silly. Just decide who you're going to support early on.

  1. I heard another one today. Be on the phone or pretend like you are on the phone. Like talking.
